In recent years, with the advancement of science and technology and the rise of low-carbon awareness, more and more new heating equipment have begun to be applied to Tibet. For example, a bathing center located in Chengguan District, Lhasa City has chosen BANDON’s air source heat pump equipment to provide heating and hot water supply.
1. Project Overview
The project is located in Chengguan District, Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region, in the center of Lhasa, close to the Potala Palace, and belongs to the plateau temperate semi-arid monsoon climate zone. The solar radiation is strong, the air is thin, the temperature is low, the temperature difference between day and night is large, winter and spring are cold, dry and windy, and the annual frost-free period is 100 to 120 days.
The bathing center is located at an altitude of 3,500 meters, with a heating area of 5,400 square meters, a heating requirement of 26 degrees Celsius, and a daily supply of 200 tons of hot water. The heating terminal is floor heating + wind plate.
In order to meet the dual needs of high-quality bath heating, based on the building load and temperature demand, three 80 HP inverter heat pumps and three 80 HP hot water supply heat pumps are selected for this project.
4. Equipment Installation
The units are installed on the rooftop platform of the business district. Considering the dense number of shops in the business district and the large flow of people, anti-vibration and anti-noise measures are taken during installation to ensure that the unit operates stably without affecting store operations and creating a quality business environment.
It is worth mentioning that this project uses BANDON ultra-low temperature and ultra-quiet air source heat pump unit, which can operate stably even in the extreme environment of -35°C; the minimum noise is as low as 58dB, allowing users to fully enjoy the tranquility of bathing and leisure. After the installation and commissioning of the unit is completed, the terminal floor heating and fan coil units are seamlessly connected to save costs.
5. Operation Status
The project was installed and commissioned in March this year. It adopts a water circulation operation system to transmit heat from bottom to top, keeping the feet warm and the top cool, with a constant temperature. It meets the physiological needs of the human body, makes heating healthy and more comfortable, and promotes high-quality bathing heating.
It is expected that the indoor temperature in winter will be around 26°C, and the 60-ton water tank can supply up to 200 tons of hot water per day, meeting the heating and hot water supply needs of the owners. The heating is stable, the water temperature is comfortable, and the energy-saving effect is much higher than using hot water equipment such as boilers.
