Jinan Homeinn Hotel Project

In recent years, with the in-depth integration of culture and tourism and the continuous development of the market, the cultural tourism consumption demand has an obvious trend of upgrading. On the one hand, the big leisure trend has promoted the development of large-scale cultural tourism projects; on the other hand, changes in demand have prompted the real estate and hotel industries to begin to pay attention to the integration of cultural tourism and continue to transform. At the same time, due to changes in national consumer demand, the living experience of Travelodge hotels is also constantly improving.

Driven by this, hotels pay more attention to the comfort experience of guests, and air-source heat pumps with energy saving, stability and safety have become the preferred heating equipment. For example, a Home Inn hotel located in Jinan City, Shandong Province chose BANDON air source heat pumps for heating and hot water supply.

1. Project Overview

The project is located in the center of Jinan City, Shandong Province, and belongs to the warm temperate continental monsoon climate area. It has four distinct seasons, with drought and little rain in spring, warm and rainy summers, cool and dry autumn, cold and snowless winters. The annual frost-free period is 235 days. The lowest monthly average temperature is -3.2℃, and the lowest temperature can reach minus 19.7℃. It is very suitable for using air energy heating.

The hotel has 100 guest rooms with a heating area of 3,000 square meters. The heating demand temperature is 23 degrees Celsius. The daily hot water supply demand is 15 tons. The heating terminal uses a floor heating system.

2. Project Background

Home Inns is one of the three major brands of Home Inns Hotel Group, with nearly 2,000 hotels in 300 cities across the country. The Home Inn where the project is located is one of the group's newly opened chain hotels in Jinan City. Taking into account the heating needs of the hotel, the owner has higher requirements for heating comfort.

After the renovation was completed in 2020, the owner learned through a long on-site inspection that BANDON had successfully installed and operated home heating, commercial heating, commercial hot water and other projects for many years in East China, North China and other regions, and had received good feedback from the Jinan market. Therefore, BANDON brand is fully recognized and the BANDON units is finally chosen.

3. Equipment Selection

In order to meet the hotel's need to provide comfortable heating and provide guests with a more comfortable living experience, based on the building load and temperature demand, two 55 HP high-power commercial inverter units are selected for heating for this project, and two 15-horsepower low-temperature inverter water heaters is chosen to supply hot water.

4. Equipment Installation

The unit is installed in a spacious ventilation area on the roof of the hotel, giving full play to the characteristics and advantages of the unit's independent temperature control and intelligent defrost integration. At the same time, the new cement base at the bottom ensures the stability of the equipment and gives full play to the advantages of the equipment. Guests can enjoy the safe and convenient heating experience as at home.

It is worth mentioning that even though the unit is placed on the roof of the building, the unit's quietness is still very good. The lowest noise during operation is as low as 58dB, which is better than other equipment on the market. After the unit is installed and debugged, the terminal floor heating is seamlessly connected, saving costs.

5. Operation Status

The project was installed and debugged in October this year. It adopts a water circulation operation system to transmit heat from bottom to top. It is warm at the feet and cool at the top, with constant temperature, which meets the physiological needs of the human body and makes heating healthy and more comfortable.

It is expected that the indoor temperature in winter will be around 24°C, and the 20-ton water tank can supply more than 15 tons of hot water per day, meeting the heating and hot water supply needs of the owners. The heating is stable, the water temperature is comfortable, and the quality is renewed, creating a high-end residential life.

6. Party A’s Evaluation

After the installation and commissioning was completed, we also conducted a follow-up visit to the owner. The owner expressed his extreme satisfaction and received the following comments:

③The temperature is constant and can meet the large water demand during peak hours.
