Bio-industry Clean Heating Project

With the global upsurge of clean energy technology and the advancement of the "double carbon" goal, air source heat pumps have achieved a very high penetration rate in the Northeast region in recent years. Many schools, factories, hotels, office buildings and other places have transformed air source heat pumps as building heating, cooling and hot water supply equipment.

A biotechnology Co., Ltd. located in Donggang City, Liaoning Province is also one of the companies that choose BANDON air source heat pumps as heating equipment to create green biotechnology and actively help solve the winter heating problem in the bioindustry.

Project Overview

A biotechnology company in Liaoning is located in Donggang City, Liaoning Province. It has a monsoon climate in a temperate humid area. It is affected by the Yellow Sea and has oceanic climate characteristics. In winter, there are northerly and northwesterly winds. The annual average temperature is 8-9°C, and the lowest temperature reaches -28°C. The annual frost-free period is 182 days, the freezing period is 147 days, the average freezing depth is 0.8 meters, and the maximum freezing depth is 1 meter.




A biotechnology company in Liaoning is a newly built office park. The park has dormitories and office buildings totaling 17,000 square meters, and a production workshop of 3,000 square meters. The total project heating area is 20,000 square meters, and the heating terminals are floor heating and wind panels.

Each area of the project's campus has different needs. Dormitory buildings and office buildings require cooling in the summer and heating in the winter. The production workshop maintains a constant temperature of 15-16°C throughout the year, and the park provides 50 tons of domestic hot water every day.

Transformation Background

The company implements the national "double carbon" goal and understands that air source heat pumps, as a new heating method, can improve heating comfort and reduce energy consumption while reducing environmental pollution, and decided to adopt air source clean heating methods. After thorough market research and technical evaluation, BANDON air source heat pump was finally selected to provide green, safe and environmentally friendly heating and services for the office park.





Equipment Selection

Based on user needs and on-site measurements and inspections, combined with factors such as local climate conditions and wall thickness, BANDON designed a suitable plan for the park. The project is equipped with a total of 12 pcs of 80 HP BANDON full DC commercial inverter heating and cooling heat pumps and 1 pcs of 80 HP full DC commercial inverter heat pump water heater to meet the needs of heating, cooling and hot water supply.





Device Installation

During the installation process, considering that the overall appearance of the company would not be affected, we chose to install it on the top floor, saving ground area, and designed shock and noise reduction measures so that the equipment would not have an impact on the interior of the company when it is running. Floor heating is used at the heating end, and fan disks are used in the cooling system. Both methods can ensure even distribution of indoor temperature.



Operation Status

After being heated by BANDON air source heat pump, it can provide a stable indoor cooling effect of 18℃ in summer and comfortable indoor heating of 20℃ in winter. The system adopts intelligent control, is simple to operate, has extremely low operating noise, and has no impact on the office environment.

After the installation of the project was completed, the unit ran efficiently and stably, and the heating effect was very good. We conducted a follow-up visit to the company and learned that the evaluation is as follows:
