The clean energy heating renovation project of Tong'an Primary School is located in Longxi County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province. The heating area is 8600m². It originally used central heating, and the temperature in the heating room did not meet the standard. It also led to a waste of resources during the winter vacation and increased the school's cost burden.

2. Project background

The project originally used central heating. Since the project is located at the edge of the heating area and the end is not hot, the local education bureau and school have a headache, and parents are also worried about their children getting cold. Later, after the Longxi County Education System used BANDON air source heat pumps for large-scale heating renovation, the school was also included in the renovation of heating equipment.

3. Equipment Selection

4. Equipment Installation

The heating end uses a radiant radiator (radiator), which does not require additional replacement and reduces costs. Since the installation location is close to the classroom, a BANDON ultra-quiet air source heat pump unit is used this time, with the lowest operating noise as low as 58dB.

The school's teaching buildings and other buildings are relatively scattered. Although the heating pipelines are long, BANDON still uses integrated insulation pipes to ensure heating thermal efficiency.

5. Operation Status

Before the air source heat pump heating renovation, the indoor temperature was below 15 degrees half of the time. The temperature was not guaranteed and the heating was not up to standard. After the BANDON air source heat pump heating renovation, the indoor temperature of the school was stable at 18-20 degrees Celsius, reaching required by the local education bureau.

At the same time, the usage cost is lower than that of central heating. From the "2019 Heating Fee Standards", we know that the school heating fee is 1 USD/month·square meter, the heating period in Gansu is 4 months, and the school area is 8600m², excluding winter vacation For one and a half months, the comprehensive heating season cost in the past was 22,000 USD; according to project estimates, after using the BANDON air source heat pump, the entire project's winter operation energy consumption was about 220,000 kilowatt hours. Calculated based on 0.07 USD per kilowatt hour, the comprehensive heating season cost was 15,700 USD, the heating cost is saved by 27% compared with urban thermal heating.
