BANDON Combines with Solar Energy to Create a Comfortable Hot Water Experience

Especially in the northern region, the low temperature environment in winter makes the energy consumption and emission problems of traditional hot water more prominent. 1. Project Background

Weihai City, Shandong Province has a north temperate monsoon continental climate, with distinct four seasons and significant advance and retreat of monsoons. There is abundant rainfall, mild climate, small temperature difference between day and night, and long frost-free period. The average temperature in winter is generally around -5, and the lowest temperature reaches ten degrees below zero.


2. Solution

BANDON innovates a new model that integrates two green energy technologies, solar energy and air source heat pump - the efficient coupling system, which not only maximizes the use of energy, but also achieves environmental protection goals. This system is tailored for the hotel to ensure efficient and energy-saving hot water supply.




In the project, BANDON's 6 pcs of 60-horsepower commercial inverter heat pump units, with a 180-ton water tank at the end, jointly provide the hotel with all-weather constant temperature and comfortable hot water services to meet its pursuit of quality life.

The core advantage of the efficient coupling system lies in its intelligent collaborative work: on sunny days, the solar collector absorbs the energy of sunlight to heat water and stores it in an insulated water tank to ensure all-weather hot water supply. The system operates independently and efficiently, showing the charm of green energy saving. When it is cloudy, rainy or even snowy, when the solar energy supply is slightly insufficient, the system will automatically start the air source heat pump water heater to prepare enough domestic hot water, seamlessly and automatically replenish heat energy to ensure a continuous and stable hot water supply. This design ingeniously combines natural energy with modern technology to achieve a worry-free experience of all-weather hot water supply.




In order to further enhance the user experience of the hotel's 24-hour constant temperature hot water service, the BANDON team carefully designed a three-stage temperature control system based on the height differences of the floors. The system accurately divides the hot water supply into three levels: high, medium, and low. It not only perfectly meets the diverse water needs, but also ensures that the water flow is stable and has no fluctuations, and achieves a smooth output of water pressure.




In addition, BANDON also innovatively adopts a dual-tank constant temperature supply mode. The hotel's top floor and basement are equipped with 60-ton and 120-ton constant temperature water tanks respectively, forming a powerful hot water reserve system. This design not only ensures the constant temperature, constant pressure and comfort of the hotel's more than 300 guest rooms 24 hours a day, but also realizes the convenient experience of instant heating - it only takes 3 seconds for warm hot water to emerge immediately, making every moment of waiting insignificant, so that every guest can enjoy the perfect combination of convenience and comfort.


3. Operation

The hotel has been open for nearly three months. The BANDON heat pump + solar water heating system complements each other and achieves excellent operation with full automation and intelligent monitoring. The system can accurately adjust the hot water supply and support remote monitoring to ensure the stable supply and efficient use of hot water.




As a core component, BANDON heat pump hot water system stands out for its efficient and stable performance. The system uses advanced noise reduction technology and is equipped with low-noise fans to reduce operating noise to only 64 decibels, creating a quieter accommodation environment for guests and ensuring that every resident can enjoy tranquility and comfort.




The water tank temperature is currently maintained at a constant 48°C, and precise temperature control keeps the hot water at a moderate temperature, providing guests with gentle and comfortable hot water service. Hotel employees generally report that the hot water system not only has significant energy-saving effects, but also demonstrates extremely high practicality and convenience in practical applications.
